Meet Your Coordinator!

My name is Ricardo Andrade, and I am honored to serve as the Community School Coordinator at Sequoia Middle School. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating opportunities that help students and families thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.

As the Community School Coordinator at Sequoia Middle School, I have the privilege of working alongside students, families, educators, and community partners to create meaningful opportunities that extend beyond traditional academics. Whether it's expanding student leadership, increasing access to resources, developing family engagement initiatives, or building partnerships with local organizations, I believe every effort should contribute to a stronger, more connected school community.

My goal is not simply to coordinate programs or services. My goal is to help build a school where students, families, staff, and community partners share ownership in creating the conditions for every child to succeed. By fostering authentic partnerships, elevating student and family voice, and connecting learning with community resources, I hope to create lasting, systemic change that benefits Sequoia Middle School and the surrounding community for years to come.
